Spectator Sport: My Small Bedroom

Opening the middle-sized brown door, I can feel the breeze of cold air. At first I cannot see anything thing because the light isn't on.Dubious of how the room really looked like, butI can still smell the smell of books all over the room. Like the ones in the library. Stepping into the room, I can feel that the floor is smooth, yet, not slippery. But when I look around this dark room, I can see light from the end. The light came from the window. With the help of that light, I can see some parts of the things in my room. Like my bed and shelves.

Once I press on the light switch, the warm and bright light from the window fades and I can see everything in the room. This room isn't a big room. Looking around, I can see that the room is covered with pink flowered wallpaper which gives a mellow, girlish, and kiddish atmosphere. Also, the two brown wooden bed. The bed is not big, but big enough for one person to sleep well. The base of these two small beds are made out of fine wood. Then on top is the fluffy mattress. Both the beds are particularly the same, but only that my bed have more fluffy pillows than my older sister's.But also one more thing,I had: a calendar, Bible, tissue, and etc. on the bed. But both of us had one thing similar. Our blankets would always be super messy all the time. Once in a long long time that it will be tidy.

Walking in, the path is a little bit narrow. Looking deeper into the room, I can see my sacred place. It's a small corner filled with small-sized posters and comic books. On the first shelf have five manga art illustration books, my 8th grade graduation book, and a picture frame. The second and third shelves are filled with comic books. It is arranged categorically. And the last one is the one on the ground. This is a four level blue cabinet. But it is tossed down flat to the floor so that the first three shelves could stand on it.

Finish looking at my sacred place, facing left and I see a glass door. Behind the glass door have another room. The room is filled with many types of things from diminutive-sized  to gigantic-sized ones. And this room is also filled with book shelves that is filled with thick books that are not mine, but my sister's.

Lastly, this room isn't grandiose and doesn't have any smell of perfume or any girly things, but a room that is filled with comic books, posters, and anime figures. Even though i said that it is "filled", it is not actually "filled". Only one-fourth of the room is like that.

( these two are one of the posters that is in my room)

  1. Very well done Melon san~
This makes me regret how I abused my spectator sport assignment by not actually describing the objects, environment of the area I chose XD

This is a really nice piece of writing~ Desu yo!
It's simple and really fun to read, it also relates to our daily bedrooms but.. I guess it doesn't relate to my bedroom since it's filled with mirrors... scary mak mak leuy...

  2. Great Job Beruri~!!! You've described your room well and it gave me the imagination of me being in your room, and witnessing all the things you've wrote it down here. =w=b I don't think I have any suggestions for improving your writing, since it's good just as the way it is. ^^ I've liked the part that you've said that the room wasn't covered with perfume scent or any girly things but filled with comic, books, posters, and anime figures. xD That's just like you xDb Keep up your good work!

I like how you described your room... it seemed like a place that you really love and treasure, and I was lucky enough to get to visit it today! XD I wish I had a room as cozy as yours. And your "closing remark" was cute! Love the song :D Good job writing :)

  4. It's nice!~ 555 Your room is not that messy, if it compare to my room. ;P I like the way you describe your room, its like I'm standing in there and looking around. I think, in some part, there is grammatical error. I felt that it's very nice and also cute.

  5. Such a cute and interesting writing, Bell! :D I can picture your bedroom in my mind, and I would really like to see it for real someday hehehe. This is very descriptive, and it seems like it really is comfortable. I love to imagine being in a room, especially where it is nice to be in, and I could clearly imagine it in yours. Keep it up! :)
